Inspired by a previous skull alcohol marker study and Monet's Water Lilies, I re-rendered the former in a proper composition, framed by lily pads and lotuses. Water lilies symbolize rebirth, a turtle for longevity, and a skull for death, all threaded together by the water between them, an intermediary for both life and death.
